At least you differentiate between funny and 'funny' so as not to create a paradox, I wouldn't disagree with that, but the point still stands that even if one leans onto the crutch of offensive comedy with all their being and absolutely can't make someone laugh without it they are not 'not funny' they're just perhaps less talented than a comedian with a broader repertoire.
