Topic	Best Final Fantasy Music Contest NOMINATIONS
andylt 10/26/21 12:58:28 PM #133:	Up to date! colliding posted... can I just say that I don't care about arrangements, so my noms for antipyretic and main theme of final fantasy can just go to the ones with two noms? This is the problem with counting arrangements like this I sympathise, especially as most people will probably wind up uniting behind the single version of each track with the most support, but some people really like one arrangement over another and I don't want to limit anyone's choices! Also it's kinda cool hearing new arrangements of songs I hadn't heard before, like some of the Distant Worlds stuff or that Eiko remix Roba posted. I've moved over your Antipyretic nom to Dissidia and your main theme nom to the FF12 arrangement, just to be clear. And I've counted Melodies of Life as English for now. I was thinking about nominating Piano Opera music, but it's probably less official than Distant Worlds, which was a stretch to begin with.... I'd be open to including this btw, if something is even half debatable I'm probs gonna include it. Heck, we have an unused version of Tifa's theme from Ghost Trick here so piano opera stuff will be absolutely fine if it's some kind of official album/performance! This is supposed to be a fun celebration of FF music more than a cutthroat contest, I've discovered plenty of cool new tracks here too. azuarc posted... This wasn't asked, but JP for Kaze no Ne. The English version is well-delivered by, iirc, Donna Burke, but it sounds far prettier in Japanese. (You probably assumed as much with it being the Japanese title and not "Sound of the Wind," but I may as well be clear.) Thanks for the clarification! tennisboy213 posted...
