I'm confused in that I thought the villain was supposed to be either Deathstroke or Deadshot, but the Riddler as a serial killer is a version of the character I've wanted to see in film/tv.

It's interesting that they've loaded it with so many other major Batman characters, which I guess builds up stuff for the other films and likely stops them from using generic characters in some of those places.

Otherwise my hopes aren't set super-high given the shitty casting decisions.

I would honestly love if someone had the fucking balls to revisit the camp of the Adam West Batman show

Like not a reboot of the show or a carbon copy or anything, but something built around the bones of that concept. Bright colors, snappy dialogue, more "comic book-ey" vibe... It is a bummer that all we get now is "Brooding Bat"

At least they've done a few animated movies for it, some of which got Adam as a VA. Anyway, I'm not sure that kind of thing would play in today's market, plus Batman is too valuable of an IP to do that. It's something they could try with another license, though.
