Doing things at your job against your employer is not free speech.

That said, had they actually had the support they pretended to have a strike might have made a difference, but I think what we are learning is that these small angry mobs, while very loud, are very small. And the vast majority of sensible people aren't on their side.

A grumpy woke warrior should be able to spend every hour of every day outside work ranting about netflix and how it's awful/evil and whatever, and so long as they come to work and do their job, they should not lose their job.

But if at work you are disruptive and you try to demand people (who don't want to strike, who aren't upset) to all quit working for a while, yeah it's understandable you might get fired for it.
