Dogs on that list like Dogo Argentino were bred by combining pit bulls with less aggressive dogs specifically to formulate a breed better suited to hunting than bloodsport. And pit bulls were not bred to be loyal to people. They were literally bred as a reaction to banning of bloodsport and at the time dog fighting hadn't been included on those bans and it was essentially a loophole.
