| tommybel89 10/11/21 2:33:24 PM #31: | I don't know if it's age or burnout or whatever, but the MCU has really reached an annoying point to me. The levels of stupid topical humour they had to reach in order to tell their stories just doesn't hold a candle versus the technical achievements and the more practical look of the Nolan movies. There's a reason why I hold the first Iron Man in highest regard among those MCU movies. And no, I'm not saying Nolan was perfect. But his trilogy is going to stand out in my mind more than the majority of the MCU. Thank goodness comics exist.
