It also begs the question, how did those kids get that bad in the first place? Who is even defining bad? I did nothing bad. I even got As and Bs mostly despite my "laziness". Spanking never changed me. It only obscured a cry for help. Sounds like you were spanked for the wrong reasons, probably just lazy parenting+anger management issues. I spank out of love for my child in wanting what's best for them, regardless of how someone else sees it right now, I'm looking out for their life long well being. I'm not trying to ditch my kids at 18, I want to be their best friends. Beating your kids is the quickest path to them never wanting to see you again. --- Y helo thar buttsecks ...
