You can't spoil any plot details of any story regardless of its age. In the real world? Probably depends on context on why we're discussing it and if the person is actively going to try to experience the story. Like if someone said they were gonna start playing MGS2 and I just go blurt out the ending, I'm a dick. If we're just overall having a discussion on specific types of story tropes and I drop a bit of MGS2 spoilers into the conversation where it makes sense without 'warning' someone, I think that's fine. --- Welcome home, shed your skin and expose your bones.
