I feel the same... I'd have to get a new SO first...

If you don't mind internet dating, you may be able to find someone that way... But I agree. A pet is family to me...

Yeah, I'm on Plenty of Fish right now, but only replies I have had are from people far away. Haven't checked since I got home today though and just signed up a few days ago. Alot seem to message me Hi, and then never respond back after I respond to them. My friend says that it helps them to have people respond to them or something so that is why they do it.

I tried before covid with a different dating site but the first girl told me she got raped by the last person she met online on the second date, and then on the third she asked me to marry her.

Next girl was great and we dated like 6-7 times watching Wentworth at her house (netflix). She asked me to fix her sink and then on the last date I helped her pain. Turns out she wanted to netflix and chill and I had no clue....I'm old fashioned I guess and like to get to know people before having sex.

Gave up after that and just started to try again due to covid. I'm losing weight and feeling better about myself, but still suck hard at dating. I was married from 26 till 45, and just seriously dated one girl before that. I am so not a dating expert and it's much harder now then in the past due to covid etc.

Oh well, it'll help when I finally move into town and can meet people easier. Also considering starting to go to church (not for religious reasons just to make friends and have a place where I can volunteer etc as well).
