I mean, there were other considerations here. There was an incident last year that contributed to the wife's hesitance to get the vaccine, it's not like she is just anti-vaccine or anything. And yes we know an infection is worth than a vaccine but we also take all precautions to avoid infection to begin with and I think that's what she was hedging her bets on. Things kind of change when you actually *know* someone who got infected - up until now it was all family-member-overseas-of-a-friend-of-a-coworker type stuff. Not that that... makes it better, but statistics don't tend to have the same impact as actual real-life experience.

It's just CE being CE man. If you can't check the one box out of the 2 they can comprehend, you shall be burned. Life is so much more complicated to navigate. Nevermind when in a family position.
