| Topic | Why is fantasy so much more popular than scifi these days? |
| Zeeak4444 09/08/21 7:15:26 PM #22: | I mean we still do have a lot of sci-fi media too. excluding MCU and stuff we still had interstellar, Martian, arrival, gravity, riddick, a bunch of horror films and some shows, mainly streaming originals though. It might not be at the absolute forefront or have a franchise doing insanely well but as a whole the genre is still pumping out constant content. edit: as for fantasy, we saw it really only become popular like 20 years ago so theres a lot of situations where people who always wished they had fantasy media is now making said media. --- Typical gameFAQers are "Complainers that always complain about those who complain about real legitimate complaints."-Joker_X ...
