Basically it's too easy to get distracted nitpicking. With fantasy you only need an explanation if it happens to someone in the "real world" and even then the explanation can just be "it's magic." --- I'm sorry, but 10,000 of ANYTHING on a PS2 would absolutely destroy your framerate.
