Maybe I'm misinterpreting what the article says, but I took it that they are merely investigating these claims and have yet to verify them. If they are true, the guy is utter scum and I feel no sympathy for him but my stance on vigilantism remains. And I fully understand and sympathise with the fathers reaction, as I think any sane human being would if presented with it in the moment. Vigilantism should be put on a case by case basis honestly. In this situation I say the vigilantism was justified. Now something like kyle rittenhouse, is a completely different story. If the vigilante got it wrong, then yeah tried for murder as we shouldn't tolerate things but things like this dad. I would ahve done the same as well as most dads in my opinion. Like I sad though, a plea of insanity would be all that's required. When it comes to the death penalty I think certain people, if proven without a shadow of a doubt, deserve it.
