Eh, Cultural Appropriation is real but it irks me when people try to act like it's not. It's not just as simple as white people wearing braids.

An example to me would be Black cowboys in America. There was a huge culture of African American Cowboys who went west after being freed. White Hollywood essentially whitewashed the cowboy image and you have John Wayne like cowboys with no mention of the history with Black and Mexican cowboys and vaqueros. Essentially erasing a culture. I think the number is like 1 in 4 cowboys were black.

I mean, that sounds like an argument against cultural appropriation to me. Alot of what woke twitter determines cultural appropriation is based on racist stereotypes. Liked white people doing martial arts - despite martial arts being universal. I mean out of the 80 or so UFC champs only one has ever come from east Asian heritage. Then of course black people and dreadlocks despite them historically originating from Greece.

So if you were to depict a bunch of black cowboys Twitter would just cry "internalized racism" or whatever the fuck. Of course there are black cowboys...there are black country singers too.

The whole concept that you can't do something based on race is stupid as fuck.
