Because everyone is different.
That's why people can't simply live and work wherever they want because there will always be someone who has trouble accepting that people are different, come from different parts of the world, view the world differently...

If you don't conform to a certain mindset certain parts of the world will have trouble indoctrinating you to their society.

I mean states are different. I live in San Francisco, I'm from Phoenix, and born Boston. All three of those places are polar opposite.

Despite New York & Omaha being 100% different in culture, they are still two sides of the same coin because they are part of the same nation.

Just make Earth, one Nation under all.
