The good thing is that there is more awareness around it and are moving past the damaging "just suck it up" mentality of boomers. The bad thing is that every little thing that makes people feel bad is a fucking crisis and shuts them down. I teach at a university, and I don't know how half of my students are going to cope with an actual job/career/life.It seems like by diagnosing so many people it gives them the mentality of being a victim of circumstances and makes them think it's something they can never overcome. So they almost just lean into being weird. Some even more annoyingly wear being weird as a badge of honor of sorts, and seem to equate being weird with being interesting --- Getting girls is all about honesty.
