One thing that always stood out to me about the son episode is it shows a change in how Homer is perceived by the people in Springfield now. In the original episode, Grimes goes crazy because everyone loves Homer despite his stupidity. In the second episode, the family has trouble narrowing down who is trying to kill Homer because everyone dislikes him now. Heh, you know, that most definitely is an undertone in that episode. Maybe a few of the writers did still know what they were doing. lol --- Number of Mega Cookies given: (::::) 32 *Tips top hat, adjusts monocle, and walks away with a cane.* And yes, that IS Mr. Peanut laying unconscious on the curb ...
