| Lunar_Savage 08/09/21 2:16:17 AM #21: | So, if it is an honest question TC, then I would say a lot of it has to do with the fact many Christians will use it as an excuse from owning up to what they themselves did. The view tends to be basically: if you're passing off bad deeds/things to an invisible guy you're an unaccountable asshole. If you're passing off good deeds/things to God, then you're just a silly person seeking comfort in the universe. Which is almost completely in line with what the book says will happen. By convincing the world he doesn't exist, he can step in and replace God, or so he thinks (and in the meantime the world becomes his worthless version of eden). He will undoubtedly get many to actively side with him. He will present to them the object of worship people seem to think they want and tell them all the sweet sounding solutions. And with the massive rejection of God and the Torah spelled out in the scrolls and Old Testament, it all just kinda adds up. --- Number of Mega Cookies given: (::::) 32 *Tips top hat, adjusts monocle, and walks away with a cane.* And yes, that IS Mr. Peanut laying unconscious on the curb ...
