That's why HG/SS came to be so powerful on their own. Having every iteration of SFII as separate entities would be pretty chaotic, since the first 3 or 4 original games weren't the only ones released there's a 10th Anniversary Edition, a Remix (with changed modern aesthetics but same gameplay), Hyper Turbo (with Evil Ryu and Violent Ken)...
