I love the settlement building and while it's not exactly the greatest combat in a game, it has improved from the previous games and can be pretty fun. It's flawed though. The factions kinda suck. The Institute is generically evil for the most part thus not very interesting. The Railroad aren't very interesting either, and while their goal is noble, it's just weirdly specific. The Minutemen are basically the just the good option, but you can still do something with that story wise. Also, Preston should have been the new general and you juts help him. It makes no sense to be anointed leader after just meeting the guy. It's just lazy. The Brotherhood of Steel...are the Brotherhood of Steel. Nothing really compelling going on there either. It's also basically Fallout's Skyrim. Bethesda "streamlined" the games, but like with Skyrim, they went too far with it in 4. Many RPG elements are removed, "dungeons" feel more generic, loot is more generic leveled stuff, more generic radiant quests, etc. Even with all of that, it's still a very fun game and worth playing. --- https://imgur.com/hslUvRN When I sin I sin real good. ...
