The Infrastructure bill they're trying to pass would oversee a lot of that. And I would wager the companies that own the gas stations are priming up to modify all their stations in the private sector to accommodate for the incoming tidal wave on the market.

As I understand it that bill has about a 1% chance to actually pass though, no?

Either way I feel like most gas stations aren't gonna spend the money to change until much later. Even if half of all new sales are electric the vast majority of cards on the road will remain gas powered for quite some time. Unless they're getting handouts I dont see gas stations in rural areas changing over / adding a lot of charging stations without there being significant financial incentive for them.

Like sure in big cities and on the coasts it'll likely happen... but for the most part I think much of America would be lacking charging stations pretty heavily.

Also I dont really know wtf I'm talking about so I could he wrong.
