I was having some fun because of the other predictions he wrapped up into the electric cars, because he mentioned the highways being properly equipped for them and the fact they would be self-driving...and the nuclear bombs that follow. But in general, yes, you are correct! Earliest known is about 1890 with the crudest prototype dating back a little earlier than that I think. Truly interesting stuff when you go poking around. Either way, as for the future, nukes or not, it's a weird world ahead.
