Apparebtly there are currently just shy of 30 thousand charging stations throughout the US. And almost 125 thousand gas stations... So on top of actually maintaining current infrastructure (and playing catch up on that) they need at least 50 thousand or so more charging stations for this to really be achievable and not be an exceptional pain in the ass.... and then to maintain those as well.
