If she was already charged for stuff at the time, then this just seems absurd. If she wasn't charged on the other hand, then uh. I mean it's the law but definitely violates the spirit of a lot of things. Unless the injuries directly caused the death, I don't think this should result in murder charges.

I mean for instance, if i break someone's ribs during sports practice, but everyone considered it a freak accident, and they die years later from some bone infection that they were susceptible to directly as a result of the broken ribs not healing properly? Charging me with manslaughter for that would be such a stretch. At least, I think the lesser comparison holds up to convey what I'm trying to get across?
