Guidelines don't really do anything. You either use your common sense or you override it with your entitlement. And neither of those are overruled by guidelines. People who feel the world is made specifically for them will continue to screw everyone else over and prolong this pandemic. You put it better than I could ever hope to, well done. I swear, there could be an extinction-level meteor on a collision course with the planet and people's behavior wouldn't change. 'I'm not some coward who's gonna let the meteor determine how I live my life!' 'To hell with helping build a bunker, I'm not missing my cousin's wedding rehearsal!' 'Thousands of smaller fragments still heading towards Earth? Who cares? We blew it up!
