and found it to be a bit overrated. They omitted some important character development and arcs that would have better defined some of the characters, but I understand it's hard to adapt a 7 volume manga into a film that's around 2 hours. Also, I'm pretty tired of the pandering that involves young, cute, but fragile girls, and her being handicapped(deaf), bullied, abused, apologetic despite that as well as suicidal. It's like they really baited certain demographics with the lowest hanging fruit.
