First we have Gamebop-hotdog-Collen with compatibilities 70.9-74.4-75.0 - when were their worst losses as a group? Here's the bottom 8: Toucan Tarsand 16-48 La Mer Twelfth Chapter ~ In the Sky 20-49 The Rain Formerly Known As Purple Give Me! 19-43 A Beautiful Song Elegy For Old Identities and Nostalgia 19-40 Vast Ice Mountain Peak Tidal Tempest 21-43 Pioneer's Horizon Underwater Prom Queens 23-46 The Butterfly's Temptation Shop 'til You drop (Level 2) 21-40 Conquest Narrowsky - Finale 22-41 Prairie4 (Theme of Alicianrone) Almost none of these songs focus on "real" or real-sounding instruments! There's Give Me, and I guess Twelfth Chapter technically counts...my impression is that the "weird electronic" group likes, well, electronic sounds that are glitchy/robotic/sci-fi and coming out of an old computer from Germany, but not necessarily full-on chiptunes? Now let's do the same with a second group in azuarc-Mac-Sceptile, who have 68.8-70.0-70.5: The Dark Messenger 20-42 Vast Poni Canyon Final Wishes of the Mist 20-40 Central Tower "Axis Pillar" Way of the Monk 22-42 POINT OF NO RETURN I Believe 22-39 Wavetapper Dienos Advento 25-38 The Best Is Yet To Come Looting the Louvre 29-43 Altered Genos Rush Hour 25-36 Liber Ark Roar of the Jungle Dragon 28-38 Impossible Worlds Okay, these ones are pretty hard...there's definitely a theme of rock and metal-derived instrumentals, and maybe strong melodies as well - energy rather than atmosphere, except when it's WoW vs. Eschatos apparently. Also they might have a grudge against Trail SC final dungeons right now haha. With bigger groups, I like to look at matches that differentiate their members, but it doesn't work as well when there's only 3 people. Instead, I'll do my Roman emperor impression and pit today's groups against each other for my amusement! This time I'll use the 8 closest matches where each group supported one side, so if you're an outsider you can try seeing when you agreed with one group vs. the other!
