Theres a killer on the loose. The crowd of people look at each other. They then erupt into panic and stampede out the door. The only people left are the sapphire lady and the person lying in the pool of water. She chants a spell with blazing-fast speed. Runes carved along the walls and the floor start to glow one after the other. The runes reach a peculiar altar behind her, which houses a large heart with the texture of solid ice. It glows even brighter, which also causes the runes to intensify. The water glows a very bright blue. Once the spell dissipates, the person emerges from the water. My...my leg! You truly are a Saint! How could I ever repay you-- She pats him on the back. Get dressed and leave at once. Your gratitude is enough, my child. He nods and jumps out of the pool, scuttling away while putting on his pants. She stands up to her full, domineering height which almost matches you and Smore. Lets drop this game of pretend, shall we? I know full well youre no guards of mine. You shrug and flex your muscles, which fully rips apart your shitty disguise. Good, I was getting tired of that shit. Smore tries to flex, but is only able to tear the disguise a bit. But you must understand, this Great Heart has been in this family for generations. Its what powers and cleans the waterways of our city, its what helps me grant miracles to my people! What I care about is this city, and this Heart is the key to granting my people happiness. She stares down at her reflection in the pool of water. And their children after that. She walks up to the altar and embraces the heart. I dont know if my words matter to you. Perhaps you are in dire need of this Heart. But I love this kingdom with my entire being, Merlin. And until the very end, my duty is to protect my people. And that means protecting this. Dragon wings burst out of the back of her robe.
