I hate the idea of nerds making fun of people who like sports, as if gaming and it's associated culture isn't as equally stupid.
Usually people who say "sportsball" think they're better than other people, but, honestly, we're all cringe.

100% and if anything, enjoying seeing incredibly fit people accomplish impressive physical feats is far more natural and respectable than the kind of people who sit in their bedroom all day, complaining on an internet forum about how a computer generated characters ass has been edited out of a remaster of a decade old game.

Not to mention how the people who usually try to demean sports by calling them sports are the people who have felt slighted for not being remotely coordinated in school and sucking at PE/sports.
