If you take the other position and give notice to your current company, do you think they will sweeten the pot any more? You just have to go with your gut on all this, and if you feel like moving might be the way to go then I would say do that and get out of the shitshow. But if you think you can squeeze more money out of the shitshow by showing them that you are ready to take that other hard offer, it might be worthwhile and lucrative to stay and see if they are willing to play hardball. --- ...
