Aside from that gameplay/story segregation is a thing for a reason; I was thinking more about things like the "you are here" indicator, custom markers, etc - and for that matter, having to specifically buy a "base" map for each area before you can fill in the rest (which in turn requires a visit to a save point) seems a bit awkward too, compared to "if you've been there, you can see it on your map" like most other games do. --- You wouldn't download a Trumble. ...
