The fact that this entire squad is effectively going on strike over one of their members being charged (not even convicted) with using illegal force does not in any way indicate that there's a serious large-scale problem with covering up incidents and avoiding accountability for officers that overstep boundaries that need to be in place! Charge the lot of them with some manner of conspiracy or corruption, I'd say. Jeopardizing public safety for the sake of supporting a colleague suspected of committing a crime should not be tolerated. --- This is my signature.
