They specifically place the engine directly above and forward the front axle fleetwide (R8 not included), so they have a particular understeery, heavy feel. They're great daily drivers, but as far as enthusiast cars go, they're just horribly bland and boring. Even the R8 just comes across as a bit soulless and room temp water vs other cars in it's segment/pricepoint. Any worries about heavy steering dont apply to the TT IMO. When youre passing wannabes in ricers and low end BMWs without flinching, everything else takes a backseat. Hell I could smoke an older Gallardo if one pulled alongside me at a light.
