It's so mediatized that they're basically not saying anything anyway, so I rarely see the need for it. I also wonder how many people actually watch those. In team sports, I understand interviewing the manager to get insight into a gameplan, but players is just press masturbation in the hopes of them being emotional and stirring the pot against other players/managers/referees/... .
