Main flaw is that Pre-History is pretty damn boring and just feels like filler outside the last five minutes you spend there.

Counting the DS/Mobile/PC version? People trash on Hidden Sanctum, but tbh most of those quests had ok ideas. Plant this tree in the past and you can climb it in the future to reach hidden areas is fundamentally fine and a neat environmental puzzle for a game about time travel. The real problem is that all this shit was crammed into one area nobody cared about, when theres plenty of unused space on the world map they couldve used to add new areas, and integrate these sidequests into the main game so players can do them along the way, instead of padding out the post game with a bunch of busy work for redundant loot. <_<
