4/10. Not even getting into the fact that it took so long to get a sequel, either. (Partly because I waited to see the first movie so that didn't impact me as much.)

Basically Incredibles 2 was too thematically and conceptually close to the first film, hitting most o the same beats in roughly the same order. The only difference was playing up some cliche comedy about dads not knowing how to run a household, which might have been funny in 1950 or 1960 but it's got old. As John Oliver would say, "It's CURRENT year."

Loved the banter at the ending, though.
"Just because you saved me, doesn't mean you're right!"
"No, but it does mean you're alive."
And then Dash joking how she'll get a slap on the wrist because she's rich.
