I didn't want to go to my high school graduation, but they forced us to go because they told us they wouldn't give us our diplomas if we didn't.

I didn't go to my college graduation because they didn't require it.

In both cases, I was more just interested in getting the degree and getting out to go on to do other things. I didn't feel like I needed a huge, long, boring, tiresome ceremony (and in the case of high school, one outside at the end of June/beginning of July) to somehow validate me as a person.

In terms of extracurricular stuff, I didn't really do much of anything after college, but after high school graduation there were a fair number of parties and such, so post high-school was probably more "fun" and memorable.
