I'm glad to hear he's getting charged. What he did was disgusting - he walked into a pet store, yelled at the staff and killed a bird in front of them. It's right to charge him with animal cruelty.

It's like if you walked into a pet store with an older dog you bought, and when they refuse to refund the dog you stomp on its spine and kick it in the head with steel-capped boots. It's not any better or worse because it's a bird - he took a pet back to the store, and when he didn't get his $30 back, he fucking killed it and stomped on it to make sure it was dead. Over $30.

That's animal cruelty, it's sickening behavior to expose store employees to, and it's behavior that's worth prosecuting under animal cruelty laws. And it's so fucking disgraceful because it's a young adult throwing a tantrum like a toddler, with intent to cause harm to an animal and to offend the people who refused his request.

I'm coming at this from the first post, so I have no fucking idea why this thread garnered 80+ posts lol
