For me it's the combat, I get that it's supposed to feel slow and weighty, but you never get satisfying reactions out of the monsters for all the effort you put into each swing, so it just come across as clunky. I dunno, knocking a charging monster on its ass with a big swing felt fine to me. My main problem with the combat was that it wasn't as in-depth or clever or tactical as it should have been in a game that revolved around it.
