I don't really see what's wrong with that. Didn't Universal have those Harry Potter wands that interact with different things in the park? I'd argue that is worse. Sure, they are trying to find a way to make more money, but it's not hindering the fun of the people who don't have it. I'd argue in the case of the Harry Potter wands, you'd see things that simply do nothing (which is worse). In the Spider-Man ride, you still get to shoot everything...you just can't multi-shoot or something, which most people probably wouldn't even know about? --- Bells, bells, bells! ...
