| Topic | If you had to imagine a Western RPG set in modern times what would it look like? |

Otherwise some of the GTA games kinda fit the bill, as do the Saints Row games (overlooking that SR4 has aliens, and then just ignoring Gat Out of Hell). Honestly, unless you're kinda changing the idea of "set in modern times" to be some weird alt-verse with magic, etc, crime-themed games are probably the most logical choice. The kinda modern take on the quest, for instance, would be something like a heist (which would bring together a group of "adventurers" -- with very specialized skills -- on a mission to face overwhelming odds to get their hands on an item or loot).
