No one is going to say football, baseball, soccer, etc. are "elitist" because you can always pick up a ball and play, but if you start to compete in local leagues or whatever you're gonna be shelling out a lot of cash for equipment and gear. The closest golf has to "casual" play is like...putting and driving ranges and I don't think that's what people are going to consider as "golf." --- I definitely did not forget to put the 2020 GOTD Guru winner, azuarc in my sig! ...
