Topic | Do you use a NAS for storage? |
captpackrat 05/08/21 2:28:57 PM #2: | I use a NAS primarily for backup. I'm using an LG N2B1. It has 2 hard drive bays supporting JBOD, RAID 0 and 1, an eSATA port for an additional external hard drive, a BD-RE drive, a 4-in-1 card reader, and a USB port. It has DLNA, FTP, AFP, and Web servers, a network printer, iTunes streaming service, Time Machine, iSCSI, and built-in torrent capability. It's been discontinued by the manufacturer, but it's still a pretty decent little machine. I have two 2.0 TB drives in a RAID 0 for a total of 4 TB available storage; it's currently 57% full. --- Minutus cantorum, minutus balorum, Minutus carborata descendum pantorum. ...
