What the hell about it is even remotely gray? There's no real justification for letting orientation get in the way of acting.

Which is a nonsensical argument given how many gay men play straight parts. In fact, some of them play ladies' men, such as Neil Patrick Harris as Barney in How I Met Your Mother.

When people advance shitty insincere arguments like yours, it's because even the defenders know they don't have a leg to stand on or a pot to piss in.
