He couldnt act then and its especially bad when you go back and watch them today. Tom is the quintessential Spider-Man and is so unbelievably good at being both Peter and Spider-Man. Tom has shown such range and depth to the character. His movies are better. And hes in an established universe and fits right in along side dudes with metal arms and dudes than can grow 20 stories tall. Tom is easily the best Spider-Man and its not even close. --- Like 90% of CE topics are the same way lol.
