As people they had attributes that were more significant than what race they were part of. It was hard for me to understand how race was significant at all. But seeing them as crayons I realize that how their color differs from one to the other is the only attribute they have. So the counter view is where I started out, seeing them as people. Once I stop seeing them as people I understand the progressive ideology a lot more. --- No locked doors, no windows barred. No more things to make my brain seem SKARD.
