Like, let's put it in this perspective: IS-7 manages to remain relevant for 3 consecutive cases, but DL-6 manages to singlehandedly set the tone for an entire case, do it well, and well remain relevant for three consecutive games. 3-5 has an important plot point that calls directly back to DL-6. The case is again referenced in AAI. It has a lingering effect that isn't only localized to it's one game. Even if you judge it only on it's one case, it has a strong case for number one, before you even factor in that no other "background case" has anywhere near the lasting relevance, or meaning, of DL-6. --- So a planet's somewhere out there, their history the same as ours is written.
