My first thought is that I'm not bothered by this even a little, but thinking about it a bit more, isn't giving something like this to children reinforcing the idea that skin color is very important and something they should be paying a lot of attention to? Maybe that's the way early education is heading, idk, but it seems to be the reverse direction of a post-racial world.

But, my next thought is that I still don't care. If someone wants to buy this crappy, limited crayon box in what appears to be a thinly-veiled marketing ploy from Crayola, more power to 'em.
