I feel conflicted about this kinda coming out. I mean, it effectively mirrors Caitlyn Jenner's transition (and she is stunning and also brave).
In Australia, we had an olympic swimmer named Ian Thorpe whom we all new was gay but didn't come out until a few years back and everyone was kinda pissy at him for being such a big wuss about it. Thinking back now, we didn't take into account his side of the story (even though he told it in his coming out interview) and selfishly put him in the role of "failed gay ambassador" even though he'd been a pro athlete since his teens and lived in the public eye the whole time. Kid never had a chance.
Neither did this guy. He just goes with where he's lead to in order to get paid.
