| Doe 04/10/21 2:29:31 PM #124: | note that they have footage of crowds of people standing unmoved and groups carrying lone wounded individuals for treatment but AFAIK no evidence that a tank actually fired a shell into a crowd or that "thousands" of people were killed I get that this is a sensitive topic given China is an authoritarian regime but it would be nice to have any evidence whether by a handcam or sattellite of the up-to-10,000 deaths reported by some western governments It also gets alleged that the "tank man" was "summarily executed" within days of the incident but there is not evidence of this either (wikipedia claims the claim comes mainly from an aide to Richard Nixon...), nor it is clear to me why China would hide such an execution if their goal is to demonstrate against counter-revolutionaries.
